"What does it profit a man, if he gains the whole world, and loses his soul?" |
NO FORTUNE OR FAME, THE WORLD OFFERS OR DESIRES, SATISFIES THE SOUL. SO SET YOUR SIGHTS HIGHER - - - Joyce Lock |
FOR BEST RESULTS, WAIT FOR THE MUSIC TO START THEN MOVE CURSOR OVER PICTURES TO SEE IF THERE ARE ANY HIDDEN MESSAGES FOR YOU. ENJOY AND GOD BLESS! bml |
ONLY TWO OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE FOR WHICH TO PLACE OUR FAITH: (1) TO (POSITIVELY) BELIEVE GOD, or (2) TO (NEGATIVELY) CALL HIM A LIAR. 1. TO GIVE GLORY TO GOD (BY RECOGNIZING HIM FOR WHO HE IS AND WHO HE SAID HE WOULD BE FOR AND THROUGH US); or 2. TO GIVE CREDIT TO SATAN (BY FOCUSING ON ALL THAT IS WRONG WITH US AND THE WORLD). -----Joyce Lock |
Two roads were placed before the eyes of King Agrippa. One road was straight and eternally secure. An old "blood-stained cross" was its only door. But the other road was wide and had many doors, Personalizing its allure. This was the road of choice many times, so many times before! |
Some entered the door named "Power and Greed." One door seemed so right . . . "Good Works and Deeds." But the door chosen more, than all of the rest, Was named "The Pleasures of Sin, and The Lust of The Flesh." |
Well, the King struggled, and began to see which road was right, And almost turned from darkness to light. Then he surmised, it would be too great a loss, To deny himself daily, and take up his cross. But this was an eternal mistake, with a much higher cost. For there was no higher price . . . His soul had been lost ! |
King Agrippa almost evaded unending wrath. He'll almost see heaven . . . and all that it hath. The gates of twelve pearls, he'll almost behold. Those jasper walls, the avenues of gold. . . He'll miss all of heaven unfold !
|
For all the world's wealth, would heaven you sell ? For fly-by-night pleasures, spend forever in hell ? Will you almost eat, From the Lamb's tree of life ? Then curse your almost forever, Wracked in torments, misery and strife ! |
Will you almost not hear, the most terrible words ? No words so frightful, here on earth ! "Depart from Me," Christ himself will declare ! The Book of Life was opened, And your name's not found there !
|
The price has been paid; Christ's blood had been spilled. But almost won't save you, In debt you are still ! "Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian," said the King. He died unforgiven over some foolish thing. |
God can forgive you. It's not yet too late. Salvation is still offered. A lifeline still waits. Believe on the Lord Jesus, and you He will save ! Dare not rest with "Almost " . . . Then go to your grave.

ONCE YOU HAVE MADE YOUR DECISION TO TAKE THE UPWARD WAY, YOU DON'T HAVE TO WALK ALONE. |
You walk together, and the pebbles bruise your sole, But still you carry on, together. You walk together, and the weary miles unroll, But still you carry on, together. |
You walk together, and you sometimes lose your road, But still you carry on, together. You walk together, and your friends will share your load, As you carry on, together. |
WORDS BY: PETER CASEY MUSIC BY: MICHAEL LEHR |
You walk together, and the feet that crack and bleed Still tread the hardest stone, together. You walk together, and your strength is in your need, You are not alone. |
And He walks beside you, though you sometimes do not see; And His voice inside you, says your journey makes you free. It is the only way you are not alone. |
And we'll walk beside you, share your troubles and your peace; And your steps will guide you to a joy that cannot cease. It is the only way. |
Jesus said, ... "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will have the light of life and will never walk in darkness." ---John 8:12 (Good News Bible) |
